CLEANING YOUR DENTURES
Whenever possible, clean or rinse your dentures after each meal to remove debris especially the tissue fitting surfaces of the denture and areas where food tends to gather.
Use a denture brush, soap or detergent and warm water to clean around the teeth and base.
If you like soaking your dentures in a commercial denture cleaners and tablets, make sure to follow the manufactures instructions on correct use of the brand you are using.
Do NOT put your dentures in very hot or boiling water as this will distort and damage your dentures. Remember, if you cannot put your hands in the water, it is too hot.
Using household bleach to clean or soak your dentures will discolour and cause unnatural looking teeth.
